MovieLounge is inviting local farmers, vendors, jelly makers and canners participate in their first Farmer's Market, from 12-3 p.m., Saturday, April 6.

Shoppers will enjoy locally grown and made products.

It may seem early, but Thanksgiving is less than 6 weeks away.  Each year, the Clearinghouse seeks sponsors to help our elderly families, families facing a crisis, and our families supporting a cancer patient have the same Thanksgiving dinner many American take for granted.  While the majority of our clients receive food stamps, very few of them are willing to spend so much of a month's allotment for one meal.  They simply skip Thanksgiving.

The Fort Smith EMS 911 Communications Center was presented the 2012 Horizon Award in Minneapolis, MN on Tuesday by the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials at the 2012 APCO Conference and Exhibition. The Horizon Award recognizes communications centers that have shown leadership in technology and are pro-actively seeking solutions to manage the introduction of technological advancements in their center and community over the current year.

Antique Automobile Club Celebrates 50 Years

Join the Fort Smith Museum of History to celebrate fifty years of the Fort Smith Antique Automobile Club. 

The club was formed in 1962 to bring together car lovers interested in saving the history of the American automobile through preservation.

View a 1929 Ford Model A truck, a 1931 Model A sedan, a 1939 Oldsmobile, a 1961 Ford Thunderbird and much more.
