Sparks Offers Vaccination Station | Health
Let Sparks Clinic help you beat the flu bug this fall. The Vaccination Station is now open to provide adult flu and pneumonia vaccines, and you can receive the vaccines on a walk-in basis with no appointment necessary.
Insurance is accepted but without insurance you can pay $20 for the flu shot and $108.85 for the pneumonia vaccination.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the timing of the flu varies from year to year. In the U.S., it typically peaks in January or February but can begin as early as October. The experts at the CDC say getting a flu vaccine each year is the best way to prevent the flu. Also, covering your cough and washing your hands with soap can help prevent the spread of the bug.
The vaccination station is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 – 11:30 am and 1:00 – 4:30 pm and is located at the Sparks Medical Plaza, 1504 Dodson Avenue in Fort Smith, AR.
