Immaculate Conception School will hold its annual Spring Festival on Friday, May 3rd, 2013 and Saturday, May 4th, 2013.
 
Festival hours are 5-11 pm on Friday, May 3rd, and 5- 11 pm on Saturday, May 4th, situated on the parking lots of Immaculate Conception Church.

FREE Sensory Saturday Event Offers Disability Community a Safe and Comfortable Environment

Carmike Cinema, the Parent Training & Information Center and Bost have teamed up to bring families affected by autism and other disabilities a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment with the “Sensory Saturday” program.  In order to provide a more accepting and comfortable setting for this unique audience, the movie theater will have their lights brought up and the sound turned down.

Freemasonry Picnic and 1880s Carnival Open to Public April 13

Masons of Arkansas invite the public to join in their 175th anniversary celebration Saturday, April 13, at the Clayton House. The free event will feature a cookout, an 1880s carnival, and a vignette about four famous area Masons including W. H. H. Clayton, who served as  federal prosecuting attorney of Judge Parker’s court.

Food for Thought Series: Fruit Winemaking

The Fort Smith Public Library will present Food for Thought: Fruit Winemaking on Friday, April 19, at Noon.  Join us for this popular program featuring River Valley Master Gardener Isaac Witt with The Learning Fields, who will demonstrate the basic method for making wine from fruit. This event is free and open to the public.  Bring your lunch if you wish or pick something up at Dewey’s Café; the Library will provide drinks and dessert.  The Fort Smith Public Library is located at 3201 Rogers in Fort Smith.
